The card on the front is of actor Lewis Waller. The HT editors chose it because it's such a good example of the 'undivided back': the message is scribbled in the margin around the picture of Waller, as the other side had to be kept free for the address. Although, I'm guessing the fact he's carrying an iPad also came into the reckoning.

LOVE! I love it all. I love the video, you are a natural in front of the camera. I'm so glad that History Today chose to use the postcard for the cover. I'm so happy for you that you are doing so well. And your video reminds me that I'd better get cracking at putting my collections into the special books and sleeves I ordered. I have so many more cards than I thought.
ReplyDeleteIn Between Postcards is great. Google and Lucky are gorgeous. I'm making a virtual postcard a day for my daughter who is studying in Japan for three months, and posting them on her Facebook page. The cards all feature her pug, with small narrative. In former days I'd have sent real postcards, of course, but we live in the now.
